I am a Brazilian photography enthusiast living in London always in search of a new adventure.
I always had a passion for photography but it was only in 2004 when I started developing my photographic eye when my beloved photography teacher, Marcinha, said “you have to find beauty in the chaos”
Being a very organised person this was quite a mission, but once I put my eye on the view finder everything makes sense.
All the videos and photos are being shot by a Nikon D7100 (for land footage) and GoPro Hero 3+ (for underwater footage). The two main lenses I use with the Nikon are the Nikon EF 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6G VR (standard zoom) and the Tamron 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD Macro (telephoto).
“I want to see the entire world before I die” – is a quote that all my family and friends already heard me saying at least once. With currently 32 countries and counting… Travelling, exploring, experiencing different cultures is my addiction. I am curious by nature.
So this blog is the junction of my greatest passions in life: photography and travelling. Here you can find the “must haves” and “must do’s” of all the places I have visited, illustrated with my own images.
During the 5 years I have been living in London I have been exploring the city and it’s country. So I will also give you tips about what to do in London, my secret gems, restaurants and it’s surroundings.
Having travelled extensively around Brasil (even though there are still some boxes to tick) you will also find some info and tips about the place I call home.
You will find this blog is a bit different than others. While searching online before a trip I always found myself bombarded with long texts and specific explanations of a certain location when I only really needed the information to be direct and simplified.
And this is what this blog will do for you, point out the highlights and show you what they look like to give you a taste of what you will see and poke the travel bug that lives inside you.
I hope you enjoy travelling with me and seeing the world.by.cami.
